Similar to JavaScript, TypeScript stores all numerical values as floating-point representations. These numeric values are categorized under the number data type. The number type serves to represent both integers and floating-point numbers. This type transforms the numeric literal into an instance of the number class. The number class functions as a wrapper, allowing manipulation of numeric literals as if they were objects. Additionally, TypeScript accommodates Binary (Base 2), Octal (Base 8), Decimal (Base 10), and Hexadecimal (Base 16) literals.
